Inclusion at Wasserwacht Unterhaching

Water knows no boundaries - and neither do we.

At Water Rescue, we believe that sport and community should be accessible to all people. For us, inclusion is more than a concept: it is an attitude that we live every day. We create programmes where people with and without disabilities swim, laugh and grow together.
Inclusion in sport means that all people - regardless of physical or cognitive limitations - can participate equally. Water offers special possibilities: it takes away weight, creates freedom and enables forms of movement that would not be possible on land.
We work with trained inclusion swimming instructors and an accessible environment, so that every person can find their place with us - as a swimmer, as a participant or as part of our community.

Inclusion Swimming (Open Sessions)

Our open inclusion swimming is a regular programme for everyone who simply wants to enjoy being in the water - without performance pressure, without prerequisites, without barriers. People with and without disabilities come together here and move in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
Whether someone already swims confidently or just wants to explore the water: we meet everyone where they are. Our trained helpers are always present, ensuring safety and a good time.

Learning to Swim - Everyone at Their Own Pace

Our inclusion swimming courses are aimed at people of all ages with physical or cognitive impairments. In small groups and with plenty of individual attention, we accompany participants step by step - from their first encounter with water to safe, independent swimming.
All courses are led by specially trained instructors who respond to each individual's needs. We adapt pace and content flexibly - because every step forward counts.
