BRK Wasserwacht Unterhaching
Unterhaching Public Pool
Built in the 1920s, the public pool originally consisted of a non-swimmer pool of 30m length and a competition pool of 50m length.
Fed by the Hachinger Bach stream, swimmers enjoyed the cold fresh water for their bathing pleasures. Today there is considerably more luxury: although the water of the Hachinger Bach is still used as the supply, since 1950 the water has been treated and heated. As part of this modernisation, several showers and a children's paddling pool were added.
In the following years, two diving boards and a small slide were added. The pool was completely redesigned based on a new concept created in 1985, with the pool area relocated further north. Not only a new competition pool of 50m length, but also a diving platform of up to 10 metres height encourage swimmers to athletic achievements. The wild water channel and the brand new water slide, which was inaugurated just recently, offer a further 100m of water fun. For those who prefer it more relaxed, the fun pool offers a water mushroom and an extra warm water area.
In the meantime, the little ones can enjoy the paddling pool. The extensive lawns with old chestnut trees invite young and old alike to rest and relax, and catering is also provided: the kiosk offers a colourful variety for small and large appetites in between.
BRK Wasserwacht Unterhaching takes care of your safety at weekends!
In summary: the Unterhaching public pool is suitable both for a quick swim and as a day trip destination! Enjoy the Unterhaching public pool!
